Hello from Cyberpink® creator PA Lopez!
I'm PA Lopez, owner of Fashion Week Online, musician, and author of the book RNWY.
The Cyberpink project began four years ago during the pandemic as an escape from a lot of difficult realities. I wanted to create something positive and fun, that had heartfelt situations, but wasn't preachy or annoying.
It began as a TV script, then I did a series of little books on Amazon, mostly to keep myself in good sprits, because the Cyberpink universe felt like a better world than the one I was living in.
I shopped the TV script around, got some good feedback and support, but didn't know how to take it to the next level. So next I spent about a year writing a traditional novel.
With the novel, I was able to tell the complete story for the first time.
Meanwhile I began writing and recording songs for the project, which you can check out on Spotify, Apple Music, etc., searching for Cyberpink! They're kind of rough, but hopefully you'll enjoy!
Then I realized the best way to get the story out there was to work with Samuel Bermudez, my concept artist, to make a full graphic novel!
My goal is to make Cyberpink® into a global brand like Jem and the Holograms or the Powerpuff Girls, or even Scott Pilgrim, expanding from a graphic novel to a TV series, music project, etc.
Issue 1 is complete at 58 pages, and so are 3 songs; we just need your help to keep it going!
It's the 23rd century. The Lunar city of New Hollywood has become a mecca for musicians and entertainers looking to make a name for themselves.
It's here the Cyberpink girls arrive, working to make rent because they can't get regular jobs. Why?
Because of some bad stuff that happened back on Earth.
Really bad stuff.
Stuff they would definitely prefer to keep secret.
A girl vanishes after leaving a club in New Hollywood, and some robots are blamed.
Next, more humans begin disappearing.
If you're a robot, this is bad news.
Normally, a group of rent-strapped humans like the Cyberpink girls might not care. Or maybe a little.
But Stacyÿ's from-childhood boyfriend is a robot, and Eva was adopted by a robot.
And, honestly, L has a low tolerance for jerks anyway. So that's where navigating the situation gets tricky.
Especially when, desperate for rent, they're signed by Nicky Rat, the biggest music promoter on the Moon, who — as it turns out — is also anti-robot.
And who may even be behind the disappearances.
Yes, they could walk away, but they're out of options, and need all the help they can get ...
... before the Truth comes out, and ruins their lives for good.
Can the Cyberpink solve the mystery of the disappearances, absolve robots, and save their own skins in the process?

Prepare to be shocked and amazed. At Stacyÿ's dumb ideas.
